What information do we collect?

Your financial and payment details such as credit/debit card and direct debit information are collected and stored by Stripe, PayPal and GoCardless. We may also collect details of your visits to our website, for example your location data. We use this to provide you with the information, services or products that you’re interested in and which are most relevant to you.

Keeping your information up-to-date

To make sure we always have the most up-to-date information about how to contact you, we may also, from time to time, update your records to reflect any changes to your personal information.

How do we use your personal information?

As a business development community, our main mission to support your business grow through helping you expand your business network, connecting you with specific business owners, providing you with opportunities for collaboration and mutual support. In short we connect people to make things happen.

We therefore use your personal information to help us provide you the best service and experience and keep you updated on relevant information (such as events or membership benefits), services or products you’ve requested or which we feel may interest you.

We may also permit our group organisers and member service providers to provide you with information on our behalf. This will include invitations to our networking meetings, Focus groups, membership benefits, etc.

Our business community is made of a collective of positive business owners who come together to build their respective business, learn and support each other. That’s why we love to let you know about the thought-provoking talks and events we organise for you. We also like to keep you up to date with new membership package offers and other benefits, which will help you achieve your business goals.

However, of course, we will not contact you again if you ask us not to. This can relate to all communications with you from The Oxfordshire Project or to certain campaigns or channels of communication. Sharing your information with Third-Parties

We work with third-party business owners who run our open networking meetings. We will share the following personal information with them:

– Business address (or address you have supplied to us)

This is to make sure our events run smoothly, and that you receive relevant and timely information regarding your bookings.

By nature, the core of our service is to connect business owners with relevant business contacts and help those entrepreneurs develop a wide business network. How do we handle your direct debit and credit card information?

We do not hold your sensitive data such as your direct debit or credit card details and instead use Stripe, PayPal and GoCardless to ensure your financial information is safe.

Keeping your password safe

Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain areas of our website, you are responsible for keeping the password confidential. You agree not to share that password with anyone else.
