13th September @ 09:30 - 11:30| £15.00 - £20.00
Entrepreneurship and Emotional Self-Deception. How our emotions fool us (and what to do about it).
Entrepreneurship is an emotional journey. We’re often told things like: ‘follow your passion’, ‘live your values’, and ‘embrace opportunity’. But how do these actually feel? How do we know if that’s what we’re actually experiencing? The truth that our emotions deceive us, and the true nature of these feelings – what we actually experience – is often not what we expect.
Awareness of these self-deceptions can mean the difference between success and failure, perseverance and giving up, good decisions and disasters. Andy draws on his many years of business experience to share the real experience of the emotions of running a business, how they can deceive, and what to do about them.
