We finally start our own business. We’re excited, nervous, euphoric. We create accounts systems, procedures, literature, products & services. We are very, very pleased with ourselves. We will be so much better than the competition. Our products are FANTASTIC. Everyone will want to buy them. The realisation then hits: Who will buy? How will they know about our FANTASTIC products – “Oh No – It’s me that must sell them!!!!!
Who am I? The Sales Doctor.
I’ve been in sales for 42 years.
I’ve sold: Computer supplies, print, mobile phones, websites. Advertising in, local papers, magazines, directories, on websites, backs of busses, radio. Fashion Shows, Wine, Corporate flowers, raffle tickets, cars, myself.
I’ve sold to: One-person companies, Family run, Start-ups, Established, Large, Limited, Partnerships, Corporates, Blue Chip, Councils, Board Members. The public.
I’ve hit high sales targets. I’ve trained sales staff.
