North Banbury Meeting
19th June, 2018 @ 10:00 - 12:00| £15 - £20
Making Tax Digital is on the horizon for ALL businesses, starting with those who are VAT registered and have a turnover greater than £85,000 from 1 April 2019 and expected to filter through to ALL businesses from April 2020.
John has been watching the changes closely and will share his knowledge on the benefits and drawbacks of change.
While less paperwork, fewer financial surprises and gaining greater visibility of your tax situation offers advantages, John will also discuss the disadvantages of more reporting deadlines, potential loss of privacy and compulsory use of technology.
Regardless of the size of your business, find out what you need to do to prepare for forthcoming changes.

Making Tax Digital (MTD) represents a huge shift in reporting obligations to HM Revenue & Customs that starts on 1st April 2019 with VAT. MTD for other taxes will then be rolled out, depending on how effective MTD for VAT is, and on the resources available to HMRC after the impact of Brexit.
