Faringdon Meeting – CANCELLED DUE TO POOR WEATHER AND ROAD CONDITIONS

12th December @ 10:00 - 12:00

Curry beer and Lego, a path to enlightenment

Barry Grehan is a co-founder of Robotscool. Their goal is to make a meaningful contribution to the art and science of learning. They are trying to achieve this with an “Old School to Bold School” vision for education.

Pff, that will never work…

And you are probably right – from your point of view. But that is not going to stop me!

My talk focuses on how a (short) lifetime of experience has taught me not to conform and instead nurture the seed of all potential.

Barry Grehan – co-founder of Robotscool

Barry lived in Japan for 15 years as a professional educator and part-time small business owner, and became a “Jack of all trades” in the worlds of computing. He started designing and creating a unique Learning Management System in 2010. In 2013, Barry made head-ways in to local business community as well as starting three grass-roots robotics clubs in and around Oxfordshire.
