About the Event
Running a small business is always busy, but it can be lonely at times too. Sometimes it would be great to feel part of a bigger team. But joining a network can be difficult. They can demand a lot of your time, and the pressure to refer business can add to your workload.
At The Oxfordshire Project, we network differently. We focus on support and education, as well as business growth. We’re not about short term sales, we’re about building long term connections, because this is the route to sustainable success.
With our 7 different groups and 8 monthly meetings around Oxfordshire, we provide flexibility to suit your busy lives, variety to suit your enquiring minds, and a community of smart, like-minded people, to help you and your business grow.
This month we welcome Trevor Ray as our speaker with a talk about trust.
Trust is something that we build with others over time and is based on a combination of their and our behaviours. It is one of those things that can feel a little intangible; the one thing we do know is that with high levels of trust business is much easier and without it, business can be really tough. In this talk, Trevor will explore elements that make up trust, how it is formed and even how we can measure it. He will also get you to think about what specific behaviours erode your trust and how you may erode trust in others through your actions. Finally, he will look at three simple steps that can be used to re-build trust when it has been breached in order to repair a relationship.
