About the Event

Running a small business is always busy, but it can be lonely at times too. Sometimes it would be great to feel part of a bigger team.

But joining a network can be difficult. They can demand a lot of your time, and the pressure to refer business can add to your workload.

At The Oxfordshire Project, we network differently. We focus on support and education, as well as business growth. We’re not about short term sales, we’re about building long term connections, because this is the route to sustainable success.

With our 8 different groups and 9 monthly meetings around Oxfordshire, we provide flexibility to suit your busy lives, variety to suit your enquiring minds, and a community of smart, like-minded people, to help you and your business grow.

This month we welcome Todd with a talk called:

Look Big, Spend Small – Facebook Ads for SMEs

Facebook Ads do work… when you create them correctly. When you apply the Ads carefully, you not only spend less, but you appear more often and in the eyes of the people who really matter – making it seem like you’re everywhere.

But they’re a notoriously tricky beast to master. So what do people do wrong, and how can you avoid making the same mistakes?

Hear from the guy they call ‘The Cowboy’ and hear how he’s created a big company presence for him and his clients on a small budget, and what he’s learnt about Facebook ads from spending over £100,000 with the big brother of social media.

Graham Todd (known as Todd) is a passionate and engaging public speaker and social media trainer.

One half of Spaghetti Agency, Todd runs, manages and trains business to use social media to great effect.

Todd isn’t shy about showing his energy and excitement for his business and for social media. This comes across whenever he gives a talk or runs a seminar or workshop.

Todd engages and involves people with his energetic personality, explaining everything in plain English and taking Q&As in his stride. Todd says: “Through blogs, tweets and Facebook updates I found a new partner, crafted a new life and created a new business; an online marketing agency I love.

As a fun but knowledgeable speaker, I’ve trained businesses across the UK to use social media effectively. I speak, train, read about and manage social media and digital marketing from the moment I wake to the moment I sleep. I’m a non-conformist and help businesses to avoid selling, and start being more human. And I’m not ashamed to say I occasionally Instagram my breakfast!”
